What we did over Easter 25

Our day started with a reflective service led by James. We read the scriptures telling the story of the crucifixion and spent time in prayer and song as we thought about what Jesus had done for us.

We spent the rest of the morning on a walk of witness, visiting each of the churches in Leatherhead.
We took time at each location to read a part of the Easter story, then have a period of reflection, and a prayer before we continued on our way. It was a wonderful experience to have fellowship with other local Christians, and to share witness with them.

On Easter Sunday we had a visit from our Chair of District, Rev Dr David Hinchliffe. Who preached at our morning service and presided at our communion.

For Easter the church was decorated with lots of flowers and below you can see some of the arrangements that were produced.
