The Dorking and Horsham Circuit has been established over many years straddling the A24.
The time has come for it to combine with a neighbouring circuit and create a new enlarged circuit to be more effective in our area.
This service celebrated the achievements and ministry of the Dorking and Horsham Circuit, and commissioned us to our involvement in the new circuit.
James led us in our prayers of adoration, praise and thanksgiving.
Angela sang a lovely version of Amazing Grace,
Members from each church lit a candle.
Then each candle was brought to the front of the church as we remembered the contribution of each church.
A candle representing each church and the Dorking Christian Centre was placed on the communion table.
Although we may mourn the passing of a circuit, in which many have served for many years, we look forward to the challenge of being in our new enlarged circuit from September 2025.
