This year 26 of our fantastic young people from our circuit headed off to 3Generate. We had an absolute blast connecting with friends old and new from across our Circuit and District.
From diving into a high-energy dodgeball tournament and getting creative with cool crafts, to hearing inspiring faith talks and worshipping alongside over 2,500 other young people, it was an unforgettable weekend. So grateful for the memories, the fun, and the community built!
3Generate is the Methodist Church in Britain’s annual youth assembly, taking place every October at the NEC in Birmingham. Children and young people from ages 8–18 from across the Connexion come together for a weekend jam-packed with faith, fun and worship.
This year at 3Generate we explored the theme “On The Way” – a celebration of the lifelong, ever‑unfolding journey of faith. Building on previous years’ focus on tuning into God and travelling the “Journey of a Lifetime,” On The Way invites every child and young person, whatever their starting point, to take a meaningful next step with God. The theme encourages simple, everyday practices that help us encounter God, reflect together and grow in community. Rooted in John 14:6, the programme explores Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life – with opportunities to encounter these ideas in worship, conversation, creativity, movement and reflection.
Our thanks to all those who contributed to its costs and enabled our young people to attend.
