A circuit is the administrative grouping of Methodist churches within a faily close geographical area. Each circuit has a Superintendant Minister and coordinates the finances and pastoral activities for the churches within the circuit. It may employ additional presbyters and deacons to fulfil its mission.

For many years our church has been a part of the Dorking and Horsham Circuit. This was a long thin area stretching down the A24 between Surrey and Sussex. We had a neighbouring circuit that also spread down from Surrey to Sussex called the Reigate and East Grinstead Circuit. Over the last year or so, we came to a realization that we could work more effectively by sharing resources and managing the two circuits as a new single circuit called the Gatwick and Mole Valley Circuit. This came into being on 01 September 2025.
