On 9 June 2019, we held a United Pentecost Service at which the congregation from LMC was joined by the congregations from Leatherhead Parish Church and Christ Church URC Our service was led by Rev Jan Hofmeyr and our preacher was Rev Graham Osborne. It was a delight to have a full church worshipping together and singing a mixture of contemporary and traditional hymns and songs. A group of our young people performed a dramatic episode, which asked the question "Would anyone get to heaven, because of you?" This was presented in a challenging way and inspired many of the congregation. We look forward to future opportunities for our churches to worship together. |
