On 2 September 2023 we held a welcome service for our new minister.
The induction service took place at Cobham
United Church as members of the churches, |

The service brought together representatives from each of the local authorities, Guildford, Elmbridge and Mole Valley District councils. There were also representatives from local churches and community groups, who all took the opportunity of welcoming Dan to his new ministry here in Surrey |

The Rev Dr David Hinchliffe, the Chair of the South East District of the Methodist Church, preached at the service, which was led by Rev Gavin Hancocks, the Superintendant Minister of the Dorking and Horsham Circuit. |

Dan was able to respond to the welcome, and speak to the congregation of over a hundred people who came to welcome him in to his new post. |

|
After the service we were able to have
refreshments in the hall at the back of the church. It was a great start for Dan's ministry with us. |
