Leatherhead Methodist Church

We were happy to welcome members of the Leatherhead community
to share in our EcoFair on Saturday morning

Joycey was mixing seed with lard
 to provide bird feeding resources

We used this time to celebrate our award
as an Eco-church Bronze award.

Mole River Watch is running a project to measure the pollution of the River Mole and attempt to find the sources of that pollution.

A variety of stalls included showing eco-friendly cleaning materials, that are readily available.

We were providing plants for people to take home, and ideas for a bug hotel, and a simple bird feeder.

The local RSPB representatives had lots of information available, and examples of huge eggs

Some of our guys had a stall to enable bikes to be serviced in our car park.
The Surrey Countryside Partnership had a representative join us to talk about some of the things going on at county level.

We also had a bookstall to let people read some of the titles that others had now finished.

We were delighted that so many people showed interest in the eco-issues
that we were able to show them in a relatively short visit.
